Eftichia Chatzimanolakis

Born in a small village of the region Selino, Chania, she is the precious cook of the taverna "Leventis". During the time she escapes from the kitchen, she loves to talk with the clients of the taverna! Her sense of humour and her authentic personality have made her everyone's favourite "aunt Eftichia". Her reputation has crossed the borders of Chania, as her cooking skills have given to her many cooking awards, as well as appearances on a tv show and articles in Greece and abroad. Her passion has proved that cooking is not always a matter of diplomas and chef's techniques, but mainly a matter of consistency and creativity.

Nikolaos Chatzimanolakis

Authentic cretan figure, a hardworking man who has always been supporting the family's business. For many years he was to blame for the delicious grilled dishes served in "Leventis". Additionally, he was the producer of many basic ingredients used in the taverna (olive oil, eggs, chickens, wine, etc). A sincere man with "filotimo", has won the respect of the people who have met him.

Giorgos & Panagiotis Chatzimanolakis

The two brothers who visioned, created and developed a traditional taverna which was embraced by the people of Chania. Born in Ano Stalos, Chania, they experienced the cretan traditions and kept the value of family above every success. After many yeras, they are still searching for ways to make "Leventis" better and innovative. You will recognize them immediately in the taverna: Giorgos will be lively presenting the menu to every table before ordering, when Panagiotis will be generously giving raki to every table, entertaining the lucky ones with quizzes and tricks.
