Greek Cousine Award - Golden Chef's Hats 2012, Athinorama magazine

"The Golden Chef's Hats, which are organized by the magazine "Athinorama" and the travel guide "Alpha Guide" (and under the aegis of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Tourism as well as the Municipality of Athens), celebrated its 19 years."
"The central idea of this year's event was the promotion of the greek flavour in our country and abroad, and in the same time, the promotion of greek high-quality products that can be used as raw materials in the greek gastronomy ."

For dessert they make loukoumades with icecream, that explode in your mouth filling it with a sweet syrop. Giorgos Chatzimanolakis is passionate about his job. The entrance smells like basil, but the large wooden terrace, which stands on stakes and hangs above the ground, is certainly amazing."

"Tradition to the point: this tavern built of stone owned by Giorgos and Panagiotis Chatzimanolakis reveals in the best way the recipes and the local goods, 10 km outside from Chania. Eftichia Chatzimanolakis is in charge in the kitchen: a right cook, she makes refreshing stamnaghathi salad, exquisite octopus with avronies (wild greens), aromatic marathopites (fennel pies) and onion kalitsounia (onion pies) and fulfils the cretan "symphony" with apaki, prolific staka and askordoulakous (wild greens) - even the most simple dishes are exceptionally expressive. Gourmet Award 2006-2007, Gourmet Εleftherotipia magazine

At the competition organised by the Gourmet magazine, where above 80 restaurants in Crete were examined by the contest's committee "Leventis" won the 1st prize for the quality of the food that serves.

1st and 2nd Prize - Elaiogefsies Contest 2006

The taverna "Leventis" during the Elaiogefsies Contest 2006 won the 1st Prize in the category "casserole foods" with the dish "octopus with avronies (wild greens)" and the 2nd Prize in the category "casserole foods 2" with the dish "Beans with spaghetti".
